The Charmer’s Lounge
The Charmer’s Lounge features Virgin Voyages’ resident magician performing impromptu close-up and roaming magic shows throughout the ship’s sip lounge.
The Charmer’s Lounge is a scheduled magic show featuring The Charmer, Virgin Voyages’ resident magician and member of The Happenings Cast. Unlike the more casual Roaming Magic event, this is a dedicated performance where sailors can settle in and enjoy a full show.
Event Details
The Charmer’s Lounge is included in your voyage fare, so there is no additional charge. The show typically takes place in On the Rocks, with The Charmer performing a mix of close-up magic, illusions and audience interaction.
The Charmer will also perform Roaming Magic, another scheduled event featuring The Charmer. Roaming Magic usually takes place around Sip Lounge and has a more informal, drop-in feel.
And there may just be one other Charmer show onboard, but that one is best left a secret. 😉
What to Expect
The Charmer’s Lounge is the more formal of The Charmer’s public performances. Rather than catching individual tricks while passing through a bar, sailors can expect a dedicated show built around magic, humor and audience participation.
The exact performance can vary depending on who is playing The Charmer during your voyage.
Highlights Include
- A dedicated magic show hosted by The Charmer
- Close-up magic, illusions and audience interaction
- Typically held at On the Rocks
- Included in your Virgin Voyages fare
- A more structured experience than Roaming Magic at Sip Lounge
How to Attend
The Charmer’s Lounge does not normally require advance booking. Check the Virgin Voyages app once onboard for the date, time and location during your sailing.
Space around On the Rocks can be limited, so arriving a little before the scheduled start time is worthwhile.
