Virgin Voyages offers Private VIP Cabanas on Scarlet Lady exclusively following dry dock, positioned overlooking the pool on Deck 16. These cabanas promise comfort and added service, but their steep price and limited privacy may leave some Sailors questioning the value.

VIP Cabana Packages

Virgin Voyages offers three types of packages, all packages include $100 Bar Tab to spend on drinks:

  • Sea Day: $500 for up to 4 Sailors, available from 9 am to 6 pm each sea day.
  • Port Day: $400 for up to 4 Sailors, available from 9 am to 6 pm each port day.
  • Scarlet Night: $350 for use from 9 pm to 1 am on Scarlet Night only.

What’s Included

Each cabana features comfortable seating, a daybed, and a dedicated server for food and drink service. A mini refrigerator, fresh towels, and wireless phone chargers are provided. Included with the package is $100 Bar Tab credit to spend on drinks. Complimentary food from Sun Club Café is available, though drinks cost extra.

Despite these amenities, the cabanas lack full privacy and are visible from the pool area, which might undercut the sense of exclusivity they aim to provide.

Booking Options

To book a cabana, you can either visit Sailor Services on Deck 5 or conveniently book through the Virgin Voyages app in the event line-up.

Important Information

  • Availability: VIP Cabanas are available daily from 9 am to 6 pm unless on Scarlet Night.
  • Capacity: The VIP cabana accommodates up to 4 Sailors.
  • Check-In: Upon arrival, head to The Athletic Club, where a crew member will assist you with your cabana.

The VIP Cabana Experience: Pros and Cons

While the VIP cabanas offer convenience and modern features, there are notable downsides:

  • Pros: Dedicated lounging space, attentive service, and sleek furnishings.
  • Cons: High cost, lack of privacy, limited hours, and stairs required to access the pool.

The Scarlet Night option is even less appealing, as cleanup crews often operate immediately past the pool party at midnight, and the package includes no drinks.

Other Cabanas Available

For those looking for a similar experience on a smaller budget, the Cabanas located near Athletic Club offer some privacy with sea views for significantly less money.

During our recent Scarlet Lady voyage, they were never used..

During mine last week saw 4 in use during Scarlet Night and occasionally through the day. These were at the new prices

  2. Kim says:

For the Every Day package on the VIP Cabanas, do you have to purchase for every day of your sailing, or can you choose which days (i.e. 1-2 days) you want to book?

    1. Rob Sammons says:

The package is per day so you’d have to buy each day at $600
