Wondering if the huge bench at The Aquatic Club has been changed out or that the netting has been revamped? When I was on SL just before the refurb a lot of workpeople wbere already checking what needed to be done with that area.
In addition is it known if any of the plunge pools/ hottub etc. have been replaced in the spa/ thermal sweet area?
The Grounds club too looks inviting.
I am glad the breakfast/ bruncb menu has been saved in RD/ LL. I heard so many people who enjoyed the choices there.
A change up of enteetainment is never a bad thing. Keeps things a little bit fresh without loosing the favorites.
Lastly the Mermaiden Lady looks nice and fresh.
I am looking forward to see how I find all the changes when I am back on her in 2025 European season.
Thank you Rob for keeping us updated.

    1. No changes to either the bench or netting. No other changes to redemption spa either unfortunately 🙁

  2. Matt Sutton says:

As a wheelchair user and therefore having an eye on accessibility, even though they are of no use to me I think the pool steps/handrails are not a bad idea. However I think 1 in each of the 4 “corners” is overkill. Perhaps 1 in opposite corners would have been fine. These new cabanas, I never really understood the need for any of them let alone new more exclusive versions. Be good if we could get some photos of where they are/where they fit into Deck 16, showing how much space there now is to be able to walk around them.

  3. Dawn says:

All of these boats need more/bigger hot tubs

  4. Wasp Star says:

The netting should be replaced with another pool.

    1. Jim says:

With a glass floor in the pool

  5. Matt Finnigan says:

What is the price of the new cabanas?

    1. Working on confirming but heard $600 for the day

      1. Matt Finnigan says:

Wow!! I hope that comes with a butler and some food & drink.

        1. It comes with a dedicated server and $80 Bar Tab, we’ve added a page here https://vvinsider.com/on-board/venue/vip-cabanas/

  6. Keils says:

Having sailed a couple of times on this ship in the last year, it really was in need of new furnishings as it was looking rather shabby. I felt that all the wipe clean surfaces on seating(which appeared to have not necessarily been cleaned) looked rather like something you’d find in a soft play area for children. Not very luxurious and a bit tacky and often a bit sticky!

  7. grant brown says:

Interesting changes. The cabanas on deck 16 seem like that it will make it harder for people to attend the sail away / scarlet night.
Cutting a course at Test Kitchen seems reasonable, but I am not sure that it will make too much extra capacity for people to eat at restaurants given that TK is not to some peoples taste.
Adding seats to The Athletic Club is good. For the Y2K party, I can’t help but think that I will worry the world will end, but wake up the next day and realise nothing really happened. 🙂

    1. Sounds like they could be used in a scarlet night package. The stairs on the pool also make it harder to view scarlet night package

  8. Kathy Stafford says:

Hoping much of the seating has been replaced to actually be somewhere comfortable to sit.

  9. Evan says:

The pool looks even sillier with the rails.

  10. Tanya Cox says:

Love the new SL 2.0 can’t wait to be on board in 2/2025. The Grounds 2 seating area looks phenomenal I can see myself there frequently.
