Photos Revealed of Brilliant Lady Updates
New images of big changes to Brilliant Lady including Rojo & Athletic Club have been revealed at an event onboard Scarlet Lady today.
Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady is undergoing more extensive updates than previously expected, following her entry into a full dry dock last week. While early communications suggested only a light wet dock refresh, the decision to opt for a full dry dock hints at more substantial upgrades to the line’s fourth Lady Ship.
During a special ‘Celebration Voyage’ currently underway, Virgin’s executive team — including CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu, CMO Nathan Rosenberg, and COO Michelle Bentubo — took part in a fireside chat on 24 July. The discussion included the release of new imagery from the ongoing construction and offered a clearer picture of what’s changing ahead of the ship’s delayed debut.
Rojo Restaurant First Look
Among the new visuals shared were early work in progress looks at the refreshed Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, which is receiving its final design fit-out after launching in a limited form on other ships. The updated venue is expected to feature bolder styling, improved lighting, and a refined layout designed for better flow and ambience.

The Athletic Club Gets a Scenic Upgrade
The most notable structural change comes at the aft of the ship, where the expansive Athletic Club is undergoing a redesign. Once defined by rows of upholstered loungers and a solid metal railing, the space is being reconfigured with glass-panelled railings to offer uninterrupted panoramic views. Don’t panic! Lounging areas will still be available in this area too.
The change appears directly linked to Brilliant Lady’s upcoming scenic itineraries. With cruises planned to Canada, New England, the Panama Canal, California, British Columbia, and Alaska, the glass railings will offer guests a front-row seat to some of the most picturesque sailings in the fleet.

Thanks to revised lifeboat placements and a slightly narrower beam, Brilliant Lady is the only Lady Ship able to navigate certain ports and passages — including the Panama Canal — adding further exclusivity to her voyage roster.
Brilliant Lady Almost Complete!
For now, all eyes remain on Brilliant Lady as she nears completion. We’ll be keeping a close watch as more updates emerge from the dry dock and will continue to share exclusive coverage here on VV Insider.
