Scarlet Lady quietly said goodbye to UNTITLED DANCESHOWPARTYTHING last night, marking the final performance of the energetic dance-meets-party production on Virgin Voyages’ first ship. The company has promised ongoing entertainment updates, and Scarlet Lady most recently added the Y2K Party in 2024.

Valiant Lady Performances Continue

Launched alongside Valiant Lady in 2022, Untitled built a strong following with its mix of spontaneity and showbiz flair. The now-iconic Titanic medley became a highlight for many sailors.

For now, Untitled continues to be performed on Valiant Lady, though it is unclear if it will remain part of her lineup long term. Valiant Lady is scheduled for dry dock in May 2026, which could bring entertainment changes. Virgin Voyages has not confirmed what, if anything, will replace the show on Scarlet Lady.

What Is UNTITLED DANCESHOWPARTYTHING?

Conceived, directed, and choreographed by Sam Pinkleton and Ani Taj, the show blended the feel of a music video with the atmosphere of a late-night party. Transforming the Red Room, Virgin Voyages’ flexible theater space, into a nightclub-style venue. Performers moved freely through the crowd, creating an immersive, unpredictable environment where stages and performers move alongside sailors.

The production featured a diverse cast who danced, sang, and invited the audience to become part of the performance. A mix of electronic, hip hop, and club-inspired music drove the energy, punctuated by a bold rendition of “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic.

Farewell on Instagram

As the final Scarlet Lady performance came to a close, both cast members and sailors took to Instagram to celebrate the show’s farewell. Stories and posts captured emotional goodbyes, behind-the-scenes moments, and reflections on what Untitled had meant to those on board.

Looking Ahead

With Scarlet Lady retiring Untitled, her entertainment lineup is now without one of its most distinctive productions. The show remains on Valiant Lady for the time being, but its future is uncertain.

No replacement has been announced, so for now sailors will need to wait for Virgin Voyages’ next round of entertainment updates.

Persephone and a new show called “Once Upon A Showgirl” is showing in the app for October 16 sailing on Scarlet. I’m assuming those are the replacements and an announcement from Virgin will be soon.

  2. Lorraine Foreman says:

Strange as its listed on our entertainment line up for the repositioner next Friday. I was looking forward to it next to Persephone one of my faves.

    1. Rob Sammons says:

Likely just a default it has definitely closed!

  3. Barbara Klein says:

As much as we do want to keep shows fresh, this is the one show I was always excited to see on every cruise. So different and fun. “Don’t be an a$$hole” cat was great for a laugh! I am sad it’s fading away and surprised they would cancel a show without having a replacement at the same time.

  4. Jon says:

Feels strange to kill if off and not have an immediate replacement, also most of the cast were in both Untitled and Ships in the Night so will be interesting to see how they have worked that out.

But hopefully it will continue on Valiant for a bit longer, I need to cry at the slow dance again!
