Virgin Voyages has introduced two new collectible shot glasses, available exclusively at two of its most popular bars — The Athletic Club Bar and The Loose Cannon. Each glass is themed to match its venue, creating a new way for sailors to take a piece of the experience home.

Themed Glasses For Each Venue

The Athletic Club Bar features a boxing glove–shaped shot glass named Southpaw, a nod to the bar’s signature boxing ring. Over at The Loose Cannon, the Powder Keg glass takes inspiration from the ship’s nautical roots and the bar’s namesake cannon. Both options include a crafted cocktail or zero-proof version, and sailors can choose to include the souvenir glass as part of their order.

All of the drinks and souvenir glass options can be purchased using Bar Tab.

The Athletic Club Bar (Southpaw)

  • Cocktail — Don Julio Blanco, passionfruit, lime, agave, lavender ($15) / with souvenir shot glass ($25)
  • Zero-Proof — Lyre’s Agave, passionfruit, lime, agave, lavender ($11) / with souvenir shot glass ($21)

Availability And Future Plans

The collectible glasses made their debut on Resilient Lady’s transatlantic sailing and have already proven popular. Sailors have also spotted them on Valiant and Brilliant Lady, but this appears to be a trial for future themed merchandise across the fleet. Earlier this year, The Loose Cannon also launched a Rum Club pin, suggesting Virgin Voyages may continue expanding its range of bar-specific collectibles.

Keep an eye out for these new souvenir glasses on your next voyage, and let us know if you spot them elsewhere in the fleet.

Do you know if shot glass will be included as part of mega rockstars $25 drink limit?

They likely are coded differently but worth a go with the staff I’m sure they’d try and ring it through. We don’t sail mega 🙁
