Has an iconic red hammock
Cabin 15291Z has an iconic red hammock on the balcony. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the view.
Has a glass balcony
Cabin 15291Z’s balcony railings are made of glass. As opposed to some cabins closer to the edges of the deck plan that have steel railings. This glass railing allows for a better view of the ocean when sitting down.
Short walk to elevators / lifts
This cabin is close to the elevators or lifts meaning it will take less time to get to and from restaurants, venues and shops on board.
Short walk to the pool areas
This cabin is very close to the pool areas meaning you can get changed and head to the pool in seconds.
This is an accessible cabin. This means it is specifically designed for sailors with disabilities including wheelchair users. It is larger than a standard cabin and has a number of features to aid accessibility. These include:
Entrance doorway to bathroom is wider; 33.46 inches (850mm)
Turning circle of 60 inches (1525mm) in bathroom
Grab bars surrounding toilet and shower
Folding shower bench
Rain-head showers with handheld spray shower
If you can safely transfer from your wheelchair and walk around the cabin you might also find cabins designated as ‘ambulatory’ suitable. Ambulatory cabins are positioned directly from the elevators / lifts so a wheelchair can be easily manoeuvred into the cabin. Guests are expected to transfer into the cabin from their wheelchair.
Cabin 15291Z Location
Cabin 15291Z sits in the forward part of the ship on deck 15. Forward means toward the front of the ship. Deck 15 is close to the pool deck and The Galley.
The 'Z' in the cabin number means it is on the starboard side of the ship (right of the ship if you're looking straight forward). This can sometimes be important if you're doing a repositioning voyage like a Transatlantic crossing as it will determine if you will have the sunshine or not.
The Gorgeous Suite offers a relaxing space with a large balcony that includes a hammock, two deck chairs, and a table with two chairs. Sailors can enjoy a peaceful evening in the terrace swing chair or unwind in the spacious European king bed after a shower in the outdoor Peek-a-View shower. With a vinyl record player for added comfort, the suite provides a simple mix of luxury and connection to the sea.
