First Look: New Extra Virgin Menus Now Unique to Each Ship

Virgin Voyages has started rolling out updated menus at Extra Virgin, its signature Italian trattoria-style restaurant, and for the first time, each ship will now offer a slightly different menu. While some long-standing favorites remain, sailors can expect unique dishes on each ship—making Extra Virgin a fresh experience every time you sail.

Launch Dates

The rollout is happening in phases:

  • Now Live: Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady
  • May 18, 2025: Resilient Lady
  • September 5, 2025: Brilliant Lady (at launch)

New Dishes Per Ship

This approach introduces new regional flavors and variations while retaining Extra Virgin’s familiar favorites. Here’s a breakdown of what’s new across the fleet, view the full menus for more dishes:

Scarlet Lady

New dishes include:

  • Burrata Cheese (V) – Roasted bell peppers, ciabatta, balsamic
  • Panzanella (V) – Radicchio, fennel, olive, pecorino cheese
  • Young Chicken Cacciatore – Fennel, olive, pepper, mushrooms
  • Cacio e Pepe (V) – Black pepper, Pecorino Romano, Extra Virgin olive oil

Valiant Lady

Additions to the menu include:

  • Salmon Crudo* (GF) – Radish, red onion, mandarin sauce
  • Mushroom Fettuccini (V) – Parmigiano Reggiano, chanterelles, lemon
  • Gorgonzola Crusted New York Steak* – Potato al forno, Brussel sprouts, fig jus

Resilient Lady (Launching May 18)

  • Vegan Arancini (VV)(GF) – Almond, Castelvetrano olive, arrabiata sauce
  • Ricotta Gnudi (V) – Artichoke, spinach, garlic, olive pasta
  • Roasted Brussel Sprout (V) – Calabrian chilies, hazelnut, polenta

Brilliant Lady (Launching September 5)

Brilliant Lady will feature on her maiden voyage:

  • Tuscan Farro Soup (VV) – Calabrian chili oil, gremolata
  • Fritto Misto – Calamari, squash, basil aioli
  • Spaghetti alla Puttanesca – Anchovy, caper, olive

Treat Yourself: New Premium Add-On

Available on all ships is a new premium “treat yourself” dish, this treat yourself item will be rolled out shortly:

  • 90 Day Aged Steak Florentine – $125
    • Served with fingerling potatoes, broccolini and roasted garlic jus, this new upgrade is available for those wanting something special during their meal.

What’s Next?

As we detailed previously more new menus will be coming this year, The Galley has rolled out a Menu B, whilst Gunbae Virgin Voyages’ Korean BBQ experience, is set to receive updated menus this July as part of the Eat & Drink Festival. More details will be revealed closer to the launch.
