We thought Scarlet Night had no more mysteries to reveal… until now. Suitcase of Secrets: The Fallen Flotilla is a group puzzle experience hidden deep within the ship. Starting in Draught Haus, Sailors are led down to the secret bosun on Deck 3 a space usually reserved for the crew, and rarely accessed by guests.
Once there, up to 18 Sailors will team up in groups of six to crack open a series of hand-crafted puzzle chests linked to the legendary Scarlet Night Pirates.
Event Details & Pricing
Suitcase of Secrets: The Fallen Flotilla is hosted by the Happenings Cast on Virgin Voyages. Sailors will join the adventure for a fee of $50 per person. Bar Tab cannot be used for this event, but Sailor Loot may be applied if available. The duration of the event is approximately 1.5 hours.
What to Expect
This immersive and theatrical experience combines storytelling, teamwork, and mystery in a rarely seen part of the ship.
After checking in at Draught Haus, Sailors will be escorted by a member of the Happenings Cast down to Deck 3, entering a hidden crew area transformed into a temporary escape room.
The event centers around a collection of intricately designed treasure chests that each require solving to unlock their secrets. Each group works independently to crack combinations and decipher clues tied to the lore of the Scarlet Night Pirates.

Created by immersive game designers Portable Performances, this activity is structured like an escape room in a box—featuring timed challenges, group tasks, and subtle guidance from the Happenings Cast when needed. The puzzles are tactile and collaborative, making it a great experience for both puzzle-lovers and those just looking for a unique adventure onboard.
To preserve the mystery, phones are secured in a Yondr pouch for the duration of the experience (all pictures on this page are from Portable Performances). The winning team may also walk away with a special prize at the end.
