Red Hot, the new headline show for Brilliant Lady, is now in preview performances ahead of its full debut on October 17, 2025. It was first expected to open in September, but sailors noticed it missing from early line-ups. VV Insider has confirmed that the show remains in development and will officially launch on the Miami MerMaiden.

Note: Preview performances took place on October 13 and 14, with additional showings expected throughout the week leading up to the debut.

The Cast and Current Line-Up

The cast for Red Hot is already performing on board. The Red Room cast currently lead Out of Time, a musical comedy show built around a time travel theme. The same cast also appears in Scarlet Night and plays a larger role in the newly revamped indoor Scarlet Night Remix party.

What to Expect from Red Hot

Red Hot will celebrate Virgin’s 50-year history through music, choreography, and archival footage. The show draws on decades of Virgin Records hits while reflecting the brand’s playful spirit. It is being developed by Holly-Anne Devlin and Kaleidoscope Immersive, the team behind Persephone on Resilient Lady and the Y2K Party on Scarlet Lady.

A y Sir Richard Branson may feature in some way, though this has not been confirmed.

Miami MerMaiden Voyage

Red Hot will officially open on the Miami MerMaiden sailing, departing October 17, 2025. This eight-night voyage will call at Philipsburg, Tortola, The Beach Club at Bimini, and Miami. Sailors on this voyage will be the first to see Red Hot performed in The Red Room on Deck 6.

Looking Ahead

Red Hot is set to be a centerpiece of Brilliant Lady’s entertainment line-up. While the launch came later than planned, the preview period ensures the show will be ready for its official debut on the Miami MerMaiden, marking a new chapter in Virgin Voyages’ onboard entertainment.
