Virgin Voyages has mixed up their former Richard’s Champagne Happy Hour to add a wider range of offerings exclusively for Rockstar suite guests. The newly created “Richard’s Sunset Hour” was discovered today by Rockstars on board the February 3rd sailing on Valiant Lady.
There is a plan for this upgrade to roll out fleet-wide over the next few sailings. For those who prefer their beverages beyond champagne, this change brings a wider selection of drinks now included in the Rockstar Suite fare.
Hosted Daily at Richard’s Rooftop
The iconic Virgin Voyages ‘Rockstar’ Sunset Hour (formerly known as the Champagne Hour) offers a daily gathering from 5 to 6 PM, providing an excellent opportunity for Rockstars and Mega Rockstars to mingle with fellow cruisers and Rockstar agents.
This event takes place on the exclusive Richard’s Rooftop lounge and bar, offering panoramic views, but should weather interfere, the gathering gracefully shifts to the equally stylish Sip Lounge.
Value Savings for Rockstars
A notable feature of this hour is the significant value it adds for Rockstars. Previously, a glass of Moët onboard would typically cost $21. With the new wider range of drinks, potentially valued up to $18, are now part of the offering.
New Sunset Hour Menu
Starting February 3rd, 2024, Richard’s Sunset Hour menu expanded significantly, offering a diverse array of options.
Guests can now choose from a variety of spirits including Absolut Vodka, Beefeater Gin, Bacardi Rum, and more. Champagne and wine options are still available including Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut and Miraval Rosé. For cocktail enthusiasts, choices range from Watermelon Granizado to Richard’s Ginger-Beer. Additionally, canned beer and cider options such as Heineken Lager and Strongbow Apple Cider are available. For any dietary needs Virgin Voyages recommends speaking to the crew at the bar.
