Virgin Voyages has released its 2024 Impact Report in celebration of Earth Day, offering a transparent look into its environmental progress and community-focused initiatives. Alongside the report, the brand has also revealed new details about its upcoming Celebration Voyages – specialty sailings designed to spotlight Virgin’s partnerships, values, and ongoing sustainability efforts.

Taking place in Miami, Athens, and Lisbon, each Celebration Voyage will feature interactive experiences hosted by partners whose products have become cornerstones of the Virgin Voyages experience: Red Flower, Yellow Leaf Hammocks, and Intelligentsia Coffee.

Experiences On Board Celebration Voyages

Each voyage brings together founders and experts from these brands to lead workshops and demonstrations that go beyond typical cruise programming. The goal is to connect travelers with the stories behind the brands while highlighting how everyday luxuries can be more mindful and impactful.

Red Flower, creators of the onboard bath and body amenities, will host hands-on sessions in The Test Kitchen. Guests can create personalized scrubs, scents, and skincare products using biodegradable, plant-based ingredients.

Yellow Leaf Hammocks, known for the signature hammocks found in most cabins, will offer a weaving workshop with their Thai artisans. These hammocks not only offer comfort at sea but also represent sustainable employment for rural weavers.

Intelligentsia Coffee will host “Pour Overs with a View,” coffee tastings, and pop-ups in The Grounds Club. These sessions delve into sourcing, brewing techniques, and sustainability practices behind every cup.

In addition to the workshops, guests can also expect:

• A special Earth Day cocktail with proceeds benefiting nonprofit partners
• Volunteer opportunities ashore through the Impact Squad
• Shore excursions hosted by Virgin’s leadership team, including a reef restoration in Cozumel

The newly published 2024 Impact Report outlines Virgin Voyages’ achievements over the past year, including reduced single-use plastics, expanded accessibility, and the implementation of shore power infrastructure.
