A welcome MNVV policy reversal and changes to Brilliant Lady’s Los Angeles schedule lead this VV Insider Update. David also looks at new daytime entertainment, introduces Resilient Lady’s Happenings Cast 9, and explains what to watch for when planning Alaska 2028 and your next booking.

What We Cover

MNVV Gets More Flexible

The video explains the MNVV policy U-turn: sailors still need to convert a placeholder into a booking within two years of purchase, but an eligible voyage can depart later. The change applies to existing placeholders too. Cabin, voyage, and transfer restrictions still matter, so check the terms attached to your placeholder.

Los Angeles Cancellations and New Short Cruises

We discuss changes to Brilliant Lady’s late-2027 Los Angeles schedule, including the canceled October 30 Halloween departure, and the rebooking options described in the video. We also cover the new 3-night and 4-night November 2027 sailings. Affected sailors should use their cancellation notice or contact their First Mate for the options that apply to their booking.

New Daytime Entertainment

Sun Society on Valiant Lady brings a Hollywood-inspired theme to the pool deck. We also look at Scarlet Lady’s Sip, Snack & Sass with The Diva trial, a daytime experience with entertainment, small bites, and bottomless bubbles. The Scarlet Lady event is a trial, so future availability and pricing should be checked in the Virgin Voyages app.

Resilient Lady Happenings Cast 9

Meet the new faces and returning favorites in Resilient Lady’s ninth Happenings Cast, including Sha Sha the Hostess and Karma the Diva. The video introduces the cast that joined on October 26, 2026. Cast assignments and dates can change.

Planning for Alaska 2028

We look ahead to Brilliant Lady’s Alaska summer 2028 season, with voyages ranging from 7 to 12 nights. Bookings open November 12, 2026. Browse the itinerary list and pre-register your interest before the launch; cabin availability will depend on the sailing.

Claire’s Book and the Next Offer Update

David recommends Claire’s latest Virgin Voyages book, following the Iceland-to-New York voyage via Greenland, and explains why he is watching November 3, 2026 for the next offer update. Final promotion details were unconfirmed at recording. Visit our booking page for current offers or sign up for email updates.
