Meet your Eighth Happenings Cast on Scarlet Lady
With returning favorites and new faces to the Scarlet Lady's Happenings Cast you can find them on board from January 19 to June 23, 2024.
Sailors will be thrilled to hear of the arrival of the eighth Happenings Cast for Scarlet Lady, now in rehearsal in Miami. The traditional cruise director role on cruise ships undergoes a dynamic transformation on the Virgin Voyages ships. Enter “The Happenings Cast”, a diverse ensemble of 12 individuals who provide entertainment, guidance, and more for sailors.
This seasoned team of experts as well as newbies to the brand will be guiding and entertaining sailors aboard Scarlet Lady as she embarks on captivating journeys through the Caribbean and the Mediterranean including the Transatlantic Crossing, from February 2nd to June 23rd, 2024.
A Farewell to the Caribbean
The seventh cast bid farewell to sailors and to the Caribbean through a showcase of social media posts and stories. This unforgettable season marked a significant chapter in the cast’s journey with Virgin Voyages many completing several contracts before this one. With some familiar faces, particularly from recent Scarlet Lady cast’s, and some new talent from both sea and shore, Happenings Cast 8 are well geared to make sure the guests have a great time as she sets sail back to Europe.
Voyage Hosts
Michie: The Hostess (Replacing Milly)
Michie, a singer, actor and dancer from Venezuela, has been with Virgin Voyages since 2021 helping to launch Scarlet Lady in Miami, she is a popular favorite having finished multiple contracts with the brand! Look out for Michie on Scarlet Night at The Octopus Garden & at The Hostess Sings her Secrets.
Dixie Krystals: The Diva (Replacing Kara Kature)
Brand new to the ship life is Dixie Krystals, The Diva. Captivating audiences for 25 years in live vocals and comedy, previously staring in Discovery+’s Generation Drag, with a Musical Theatre background, including performances at Disney World and Princess Cruise Lines. They’ll be bringing their star studded flare to shows like Around the World with the Diva.
Aficionados
These members are the experts in their field hosting everything from Trivia to Food Workshops to Magic Shows.
Abel: The Gamer (Replacing David)
Abel is an actor and writer from Virginia, he is a huge fan of Dungeons and Dragons! You can find Abel, the Gamer at the Seahorse Race and at trivia’s such as Salty Trivia!
Yash: The Charmer (Replacing Oscar)
You can find Yash, the Charmer at Tips & Tricks during Afternoon Tea as well as his own secret shows throughout the voyage.
Faith: The Foodie (Replacing Ryan)
Also returning is Faith, the Foodie, previously being on Valiant Lady, Cast 5. Faith has a massive passion for food and is a natural fit for the foodie, you can find her at events like Shot for Shot & Plate, Snap, Eat: Foodie Photo Workshop.

Ali: The Artist (Replacing Kayla)
Another regular to the Happenings Cast is Ali, the Artist, previously from Happenings Cast 6 on Scarlet Lady she is a Michigan Dance Team Alum. You can find Ali at events such as Painting with Boozy Bevies as well as the painting segment of the Seahorse Race.

A 2023 graduate from Performers College, Birmingham, UK and fresh to the ship life. You can find Abbie, the Balancer at events such as Zumba and Game On.

Alejandro: The Spark (Replacing Hope)
