Overview

Launched on Scarlet Lady in October 2025, Booked! – A Lola’s Library Story is a brand-new theatrical production set in the Red Room. This high-energy show acts as a prequel to Lola’s Library on Resilient Lady, but stands alone as its own adventure.

The Story

Before cabaret star Lola took to the spotlight, she worked as a librarian at sea. Together with her outspoken best friend Mary and the ever-studious Dewey, she discovers a cursed book that unleashes every tale on every shelf.

What follows is a fast-paced journey through storybook worlds, with dancers, acrobats, and larger-than-life characters bringing each chapter to life. Expect hip hop chimney sweeps, steamy acrobatic fairy tales, over-the-top puppets, and even manga-inspired moments.

A Prequel With Connections

For those who know Lola’s Library on Resilient Lady, the show is filled with easter eggs and nods to the original. But no background is required, Booked is designed to be a complete experience for newcomers and returning fans alike.

About Lola’s Library

Created by No Ceilings Entertainment, Lola’s Library launched with Resilient Lady in May 2023. This immersive 75-minute cabaret at The Manor blends singing, dancing, and acrobatics across three chapters, hosted by Lola with support from Mary and Dewey. You can read our full guide to the original production here.

How to Attend

Booked takes place in the Red Room and is first come, first served seating. A queue usually begins around half an hour before doors open, so it’s best to arrive early. Crew members will guide guests to their seats once inside. This show is fully seated.

We’re joining our 1st VV cruise on October 16th. Why so VV not have a booking system for shows? It feels very odd and archaic, to have to STAND in a queue for nearly an hour before getting into the theatre.

    1. Rob Sammons says:

They tried booking for many years and found that a lot of empty seats weren’t filled. The Red Room is a large space so you should be fine but remember this is a brand new show and will have interest from Virgin Voyages super fans due to it’s relations to the other ship’s show.
