Virgin Voyages Brings the Summer Season Pass to Alaska for 2026

Virgin Voyages has announced a month long Alaska Summer Season Pass on Brilliant Lady, offering extended exploration, included perks and a rare way to see the region.

After the success of the 2025 Summer Season Pass in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, Virgin Voyages is moving the concept to Alaska in 2026. The new Alaska Summer Season Pass places guests on Brilliant Lady for around 30 days of scenery, glaciers and long summer evenings. At this time, this is the only Summer Season Pass option announced for 2026.

The program was revealed on Travel Tuesday and is built around a month of back to back Alaska sailings. It is aimed at people who want a longer stay at sea and more time to explore ports in detail, rather than a single seven night cruise.

Virgin Voyages CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu described Alaska as one of the most awe inspiring places on Earth and highlighted that guests can enjoy the landscapes while still keeping the usual Virgin Voyages design and comfort.

How the Alaska Summer Season Pass Works

The 2026 Alaska Summer Season Pass is set up as a residency at sea rather than a single voyage. Guests stay in the same Central Sea Terrace cabin for the full month and move through a series of Alaska itineraries on Brilliant Lady.

It is designed for people who want more time in the region, whether that is hiking, wildlife viewing, photography or working remotely with a glacier outside the window.

What Is Included

Virgin Voyages lists the following inclusions for the Alaska Summer Season Pass:

The Alaska Pack

Unique for this Summer Season Pass is that each pass comes with an Alaska Pack, a small bundle of gear aimed at a full month of travel. Virgin Voyages lists a Canon G7X camera, binoculars for wildlife, a portable power bank, water bottle, backpack, limited edition Season Pass jacket and a band that marks guests as part of the 2026 group.

I wish we were able to take this much time off of work. This looks amazing! (We’ll have to settle for our 7 day Alaska cruise in 2027)

  2. Steven Kreinik says:

Aren’t the prices significantly more expensive than if you just booked central sea terrace cabins directly for 4 Alaska cruises in a row that cover same date ranges?

    1. Rob Sammons says:

Have to factor in the other aspects of the package and it is based on Premium Fare with Work from Sea Wi-Fi

    2. CHARLES Wetmore III says:

I did some quick math on the first 26 day sailings, and it appears to be quite a deal.

For just the items you can put a cost to:
      – rooms $20,800
      – daily drink credits $780
      – complimentary shore things $500
      – thermal spa passes (up to) $4,108
      – tips $1,040

      Totals: $27,228

That does not include the dedicated Glacier excursion, laundry, jackets or the Alaska Pack bundle.
