InVoyage Care: A New Onboard Insurance Option
Virgin Voyages has introduced InVoyage Care, a new insurance option designed to cover unexpected events during your voyage. Unlike the Voyage Protection Plan, which includes pre-travel coverage, InVoyage Care focuses solely on what happens once you’re onboard. It offers protection for medical emergencies, trip delays, lost baggage, and more. Pricing depends on voyage length, and it can be added up to 14 days before sailing as long as your final payment is made. Full details are available on the Virgin Voyages website here.

No Egg Shortage Here – And Virgin Voyages Is Having Fun With It
With the ongoing American egg shortage most cruises lines including Virgin Voyages aren’t affected. In fact, they’ve taken the opportunity to poke a little fun at the situation, putting up billboards in Miami that read, “Eggs Always Included,” a playful nod to their all-included cruising model. So whether you’re craving an omelet at The Galley or Eggs Benedict at The Wake, breakfast is still very much on the menu.

VIP Cabana Pricing Adjustments
If you’re thinking about booking a VIP cabana on Scarlet Lady, there have been some changes to the pricing:
- Sea Day: Reduced by $100
- Port Day: Reduced by $200
- Scarlet Night: Now includes $100 Bar Tab
These adjustments may make the controversial cabanas a more attractive option, especially on port days when the ship is quieter.

Summer 2027 Itineraries Coming Soon
For those eager to plan ahead, Virgin Voyages has confirmed that summer 2027 itineraries will be announced in May. The release will be staggered by destination, and they’ve reaffirmed their commitment to making voyages available further in advance. This release will likely include some new Transatlantic routes, Europe destinations and traditional Caribbean routes. Currently Virgin Voyages is booking until the end of April 2027.
