Meet your Ninth Happenings Cast on Scarlet Lady
With returning favorites and new faces to the Scarlet Lady's Happenings Cast you can find them on board from June 23rd to November 14th, 2024
For those sailing in the next few months look out for the next Happenings Cast for Scarlet Lady, now in rehearsal in Orlando. The traditional cruise director role on cruise ships undergoes a dynamic transformation on the Virgin Voyages ships. Enter “The Happenings Cast”, a diverse ensemble of 12 individuals who provide entertainment, guidance, and more for sailors.
This seasoned team of experts as well as newbies to the brand will be guiding and entertaining sailors aboard Scarlet Lady as she embarks on voyages in the Mediterranean ahead of her dry dock, from June 23rd to November 14th, 2024.
A Farewell to the Eighth Cast
With the transition to the next Happenings Cast, the current cast will enjoy the next few weeks on board before heading home on June 23rd following a brief transition period. With some familiar faces and some new talent from both sea and shore, Happenings Cast 9 are well geared to make sure the guests have a great time as she continues to sail around Europe.
Voyage Hosts
Janelle: The Hostess (Replacing Michie)
Janelle is a mezzo-soprano with a background in musical theatre, having performed with Tasha Cobbs Leonard, been a BroadwayWorld finalist, and holding a MFA from SCAD and a BFA from Howard University. Look out for Janelle on Scarlet Night at The Octopus Garden & at The Hostess Sings her Secrets.
A Woman Named Carlos: The Diva (Replacing Dixie Krystals)
A fan favorite ‘A Woman Named Carlos’ is returning following their stint in Valiant Lady Cast 6 and their fourth time on board! They’ll be bringing their artistry and flare to events like Around the World with the Diva and Bingo with The Diva.
Aficionados
These members are the experts in their field hosting everything from Trivia to Food Workshops to Magic Shows.
CJ: The Gamer (Replacing Abel)
CJ is new to Virgin Voyages bringing his passion for gaming to Scarlet Lady. You can find CJ, the Gamer at the Seahorse Race and at trivia’s such as Salty Trivia!
Oscar: The Charmer
Oscar is returning to Virgin Voyages following his time in the seventh Scarlet Lady cast. Oscar is a professional magician and actor based in London. You can find Oscar, the Charmer at Tips & Tricks during Afternoon Tea as well as his own secret shows throughout the voyage.

Domi: The Foodie (Replacing Faith)
Domi is another newcomer to Virgin Voyages with a massive passion for food, you can find them at events like Shot for Shot & Plate, Snap, Eat: Foodie Photo Workshop.
Sara: The Artist (Replacing Ali)
Joining for the first time is Sara coming from Montclair State U Dance. You can find Sara at events such as Painting with Boozy Bevies as well as the painting segment of the Seahorse Race.
Steven: The Balancer (Replacing Abbie)
Returning back to Virgin Voyages is Steven the Balancer following his stint on Valiant Lady Cast 6. You can find Steven, the Balancer at events such as Zumba and Game On.

Alize is returning once again with a change in role to The Flare, previously The Glow. Alize is a USF alumna and helped launch Resilient Lady in Australia with cast 2.

Grace: The Bounce (Replacing Elise)
Grace is a London based Urdang graduate and joining the ship for the first time. Look out for Grace as the co-host of Bingo with the Diva.
