Meet your Seventh Happenings Cast on Valiant Lady
With new faces and fan favorites like Ty, Kara Kature and Ryan returning you can find the seventh Valiant Lady Happenings Cast on board from March 30th 2024.
The seventh Happenings Cast will be perfectly suited to help guide and entertain sailors as Valiant makes her way back to Miami to perform regular sailings to Bimini. Happenings Cast 7 includes some fan favorites returning including Kara Kature, the Diva, Ryan, the Foodie and Ty, the Spark (formerly Gamer).
This cast will be on board for rehearsals from March 23rd and will take over fully from cast 6 on March 30th until September 4th 2024.
The sixth Happenings Cast helped launch Valiant Lady on her first season in San Juan as well as regular sailings from Miami’s Terminal V.
What is the Happenings Cast?
The conventional cruise director position on cruise ships experiences a lively evolution aboard Virgin Voyages ships with the introduction of “The Happenings Cast” – a diverse group of 12 individuals who offer entertainment, assistance, and additional services for sailors.
Farewell to Cast 6
The sixth Happenings Cast bid farewell to sailors and to San Juan through a showcase of social media posts and stories. With some familiar faces with a number of fans on social media including A Woman Named Carlös the Diva, Katrina the Bounce, Sean the Gamer and Verena the Artist they will all be missed!

This Happenings Cast are well geared to make sure the guests have a great time as she sets sail in the Caribbean. With some familiar faces plus the addition new talent from both sea and shore.

Lydia: The Hostess (Replacing Edel)
New to Virgin Voyages starring as The Hostess is Lydia from the United Kingdom. A versatile performer with over 5 years experience in musical theatre, including shows at Hong Kong Disneyland. Look out for Lydia on Scarlet Night at The Octopus Garden & at The Hostess Sings Her Secrets during your voyage.
Kara Kature: The Diva (Replacing A Woman Named Carlos)
Kara Kature is returning to Virgin Voyages after several contracts with the brand. The fan favorite Diva, a Celtic queen, is known for her impressive vocal talents and glamorous persona. You can find Kara Kature at Around the World with the Diva and Bingo with the Diva.

These members are the experts in their field hosting everything from Trivia to Food Workshops to Magic Shows.
Sabrina: The Gamer (Replacing Sean)
Sabrina Rice, a versatile dancer, trained at Broadway Dance Center and University of Utah, showcases skills in various dance styles. She will now be the latest to take up The Gamer mantle. Look out for Sabrina hosting Salty Trivia & Nintendo Switch Game Night in the Social Club.
Brandon: The Charmer (Replacing Andy)
New to Virgin Voyages comes Brandon Williams from New York. He is record-breaking magician, mesmerizes audiences worldwide with his unparalleled blend of close-up magic, illusions, and mentalism. You can find Brandon, the Charmer at Tips & Tricks during Afternoon Tea as well as his own secret shows throughout the voyage.
Ryan: The Foodie (Replacing Simon)
Another popular regular to the Happenings Cast is Ryan with several contracts under his belt. Ryan, The Foodie, from Ohio is a main stay on VV even featuring in ‘The Cruise’ on Channel 5 in the UK. You can find Ryan at events like Shot for Shot & Plate, Snap, Eat: Foodie Photo Workshop.

Mya: The Artist (Replacing Verena)
Mya, a performer, completed her studies at Italia Conti in 2022. You can find Mya, the Artist at events such as Painting with Boozy Bevies as well as the painting segment of the Seahorse Race.
Alonso/AJ: The Balancer (Replacing Steven)
Alonso Lizaraz is a fitness professional who now inspires others to lead healthier, happier lives. You can find Alonso, the Balancer at events such as Zumba and Game On.

Ty: The Spark (Replacing Cris)
Ty, The Spark was originally a member of the second Valiant Lady Cast, playing a pivotal role in launching the ship in the Mediterranean market in 2022. He is set to return once more, having previously served as the Gamer aboard. He maintains a popular Twitch channel where he regularly streams.

Another newbie is Amanda, the Flare. She’s a performer and dancer from Florida, Amanda has performed at locations such as SeaWorld & Universal in Orlando. Look out for Amanda at the parties on board such as We Fancy.
Jedion: The Glow (Replacing Maddie)
Meet Jedion, the Glow. She’s a performer from Florida, she has performed at locations such as SeaWorld in Orlando. Find Jedion at events like We Fancy.
Palash: The Hype (Replacing Brandon)
Palash is an actor who recently graduated from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. You can find Palash during his first voyage contract, hosting multiple events throughout the ship!
Winter: The Bounce (Replacing Katrina)
New to Virgin Voyages is Winter, the Bounce, a dancer coming from New York. Look out for Winter as the co-host of Bingo with the Diva.
