Virgin Voyages Announces Open Ship Night For Sydney and Melbourne This December

Virgin Voyages is inviting Australians to a unique one night only experience on board the Resilient Lady in Sydney and Melbourne to introduce the ship to the market for the first time following the lady ships crossing. Don’t miss your chance to embark on this unique culinary and entertainment journey while supporting a great cause!

Virgin Voyages’ CEO, Nirmal Saverimuttu, says: “We’ve been excited about coming to Australia for over a year now, and the time has finally arrived. Before we kick off our first sailing season, we wanted to find a way to give Aussies a little taste of what they can expect on-board. Dates and Locations

• Sydney: Tuesday, 5 Dec 2023 – Overseas Passenger Terminal, The Rocks, Sydney.
• Melbourne: Sunday, 10 Dec 2023 – Station Pier, Port Melbourne.

Exclusive Dining Experience

• Indulge in a multi-course dining experience at one of six renowned restaurants, curated by a Michelin-starred chef collective.
• Restaurants include Pink Agave (Mexican), Razzle Dazzle (American comfort food), The Wake (Steak & Seafood), Extra Virgin (Italian), Gunbae (Korean BBQ), and Test Kitchen (innovative tasting menus).
• All proceeds from public bookings will be donated to Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef.

Onboard Exploration

• Guests will have the ability to fully explore the Resilient Lady, sip on specially-curated cocktails, wander the 17 decks, and enjoy live entertainment such as Persephone.
• Immerse yourself in the Scarlet Night celebration, featuring pop-up performances and a dance party in a sea of red.

Important Details

• No need to worry about sea legs, as the ship will remain docked throughout the event.
• Enjoy a special curated drinks selection with your event lanyard.
• Bring a splash of red for Scarlet Night.
• Arrive at least 20 minutes before your restaurant booking, and feel free to explore the ship early. The gangway opens at 5pm.
• This event is exclusively for adults, so guests must be 18+ and present the same ID used for RSVP.
• Bookings close on 30 November 2023, or when sold out, so secure your spot early.
• Cancellations are free until 25 November 2023.
