Virgin Voyages Confirms New Wake & Dock Menus Are Coming Next Week

Virgin Voyages has confirmed permanent menu refreshes are coming to The Wake and The Dock. While the full menus have not yet been revealed, sailors can expect new dishes, returning favorites, and more ship-specific options.

Virgin Voyages is preparing to roll out brand new menus at The Wake and The Dock across its fleet, with some of the new dishes expected to be unique to each ship.

The changes were revealed by Chef Levi during a Virgin Voyages First Mate stream ahead of the 2026 Eat & Drink Festival. We have the latest details about the 2026 Eat & Drink Festival here, including the new Feast for the Senses event, bookable experiences, eligible voyages and other changes coming this year.

The rollout is expected to begin from August 27, 2026, with Scarlet Lady expected to receive its new menus from August 31, 2026.

Importantly, while the rollout coincides with the Eat & Drink Festival, these are permanent menu changes. They are not expected to disappear when the festival ends in September.

The Wake Is Getting a Major Menu Refresh

The Wake will receive new dishes across its menus, including new brunch choices and refreshed vegan and gluten-free options.

However, Virgin Voyages is not removing everything sailors already know. Chef Levi specifically reassured First Mates that fan favorites will remain, including the popular salt-crusted dorade.

The vegan offering at The Wake is also getting a refresh. It has remained largely unchanged for some time and has long received complaints from sailors such as the “Egg” in a Hole on the Brunch menu & Polenta on the dinner menu, so repeat sailors should notice more variety once the new menus arrive.

It also sounds like Virgin Voyages may introduce more differences between ships. Core favorites will remain available across the fleet, while individual vessels could receive their own exclusive dishes.

This would follow a similar concept to the recent refresh at Extra Virgin. That update retained familiar favorites while introducing some different dishes depending on the ship.

The Dock Is Getting a Brand New Menu on Every Ship

The Dock and Dock House are also receiving brand new menus, and this is where the differences between ships should become particularly noticeable.

Chef Levi confirmed that The Dock menu will be slightly different on each vessel. However, some existing sailor favorites will remain, including the shrimp.

We have already seen an early example of this approach aboard Brilliant Lady.

When Brilliant Lady launched in 2025, it arrived with new Dock and Dock House menu options that were not available across the rest of the fleet.

Virgin Voyages is now taking that idea further across its other ships. However, each vessel is expected to have a slightly different offering rather than simply receiving Brilliant Lady’s menu.

Why Virgin Voyages Is Making Its Menus More Ship-Specific

Virgin Voyages regularly refreshes its food and drink offering. However, keeping the menus varied has become increasingly important as more sailors return for multiple voyages. One regular complaint from repeat sailors is that dining can feel similar when moving between ships. At the same time, many sailors have favorite dishes they expect to find when returning to Virgin Voyages.

That creates a careful balance. Virgin Voyages needs to introduce enough new dishes to keep restaurants interesting without removing the food that sailors already enjoy.

The ship-specific approach offers one possible solution. Familiar dishes can remain across the fleet, while each ship can also offer something different.

It is a concept we have already seen with Extra Virgin, and The Wake and The Dock now appear to be moving in a similar direction plus the new concepts at each Razzle Dazzle.

The Changes Arrive Alongside the 2026 Eat & Drink Festival

The menu rollout coincides with the return of Virgin Voyages’ Eat & Drink Festival for 2026.

Now in its fifth year, the festival has been reimagined around a new “Festival of Senses” concept. It runs on selected voyages between August 27 and September 28, 2026.

The festival focuses on how food and drink can involve taste, sound, scent, texture and spectacle. It includes new experiences, classes, cocktails and returning sailor favorites.

However, the new Wake and Dock menus go beyond the festival itself. The menu refresh is intended to remain onboard after the Festival of Senses ends.

Which Voyages Will Feature the 2026 Eat & Drink Festival?

The permanent restaurant menus will eventually extend beyond the festival voyages. However, the Festival of Senses itself runs on selected sailings across all four Virgin Voyages ships.

More Details Expected as the New Menus Launch

The first menu changes are expected to appear from August 27, so it should not be long before we can see exactly how The Wake and The Dock differ between ships. The move toward ship-specific menus is particularly interesting for repeat sailors. Keeping the most popular dishes while adding unique options could make dining aboard each Virgin Voyages ship feel more distinct.

We will update our The Wake guide and menus and The Dock guide and menus as the refreshed menus begin appearing across the fleet. Stay tuned to VV Insider for more details over the coming weeks.
