Join David from VV Insider for a comprehensive first look (and some clips) at all the new main shows and events on Brilliant Lady—captured during launch week. From high-energy theatre to immersive cabaret and a new ticketed supper club, this video guide gives you everything you need to plan your evenings on board the beautiful Brilliant Lady.
Overview Of The New Shows
🎭 Out of Time
Venue: The Red Room
The Red Room’s new headline production is a high-energy, comedy musical caper following the brilliant but beleaguered Dr Victoria Vortex as she scrambles to repair her out-of-control time machine. What follows is a slick, era-hopping romp powered by pop and dance bangers, sharp choreography and playful costume changes, all stitched together with a breezy, tongue-in-cheek narrative that keeps the stakes light and the pace brisk.
🎸 Red Hot
Venue: The Red Room
Originally slated as the second Red Room headline show for Brilliant Lady’s launch. Red Hot will be a musical exploration of the 50-year history of Virgin Records. Red Hot has been postponed for further tweaks following audience feedback during early previews. It’s now back in rehearsals and is set to debut as a brand-new production for the ship’s Miami MerMaiden. Details are still under wraps, but the reset signals a quality-first approach: expect a tightened concept and delivery when it finally takes the stage.
🍸 Up with a Twist
Venue: The Manor
The Manor is transformed into Lady Valentina’s Emporium of Excess for a ticketed supper-club experience (US$50 per sailor, cocktails included). A roaming pre-show invites you to mingle with the cast around the bar before taking seats cabaret-style for a variety-led dinner show. The twist is literal: the audience help steer the evening, voting via coloured buttons on table lamps to influence which acts — from aerial turns to powerhouse vocals and cheeky comedy — take centre stage and how the finale plays out.

⚡️ Murder in the Manor
Venue: The Manor
A playful 1980s-styled whodunnit, this Manor show follows the sister of Sheena — a famous musician who died under mysterious circumstances — as a colourful ensemble returns to the family manor to piece together what really happened. With distinct character turns and a variety of performance styles, it’s a lively, story-led night that trades spectacle for cheeky intrigue. It isn’t a supper-club, there’s no cover charge, and seating is first-come, first-served — arrive early if you want a prime spot.
🎺 Duets
Venue: The Manor
A more relaxed counterpoint to the big spectacle, this live jazz set spotlights the lead vocalists from Up with a Twist, backed by the show’s band. It’s an intimate, musically rich hour that reinterprets iconic duet hits with smoky arrangements and generous space for harmonies, ad-libs and instrumental flourishes — ideal for anyone who prefers soulful musicianship over strobe-lit theatrics.
🤠 Diva Goes West
Venue: The Manor
The fleet’s resident Diva grabs her Stetson and whisks The Manor to the Wild West for a camp, country-tinged romp. Expect barn-storming vocals, wink-to-camera humour, pick-’n’-mix variety turns and light audience participation, all played for laughs. It’s knowingly silly, impeccably delivered and built to send you back into the night grinning.
