They say not up selling.. but it actually is… getting passengers to spend more on drinks per meal than they probably would have. Usually a glass of wine is what most have. In actuality their advertising of everything is paid for in their commercials is false. There are so many things you have to pay for on board… sure it enhances your experience but it hits your pocketbook a lot. Do not expect to have a VV cruise and not spend anything when on board! Just one persons opinion. Lol

  2. Leah says:

Is there a start date for the sip and savor menu

    1. VV Insider says:

Should be soon on Scarlet and Valiant. Resilient likely when she reaches Europe.

      1. Jill Aker-Ray says:

Be careful VV, to not become like the mainstream “upselling” cruise lines. As a personal chef and wine lover, I appreciate the enhancements but as a one time VC cruiser, I fell in love with not being upsold for a week. Keep hold of your brand and differences which I found refreshing!

        1. VV Insider says:

Very true, think of these more as pairings than actual menus given the food is all the same as the included menu !

  3. Lissette Acevedo says:

Is splash of romance worth it? I’m not eligible for the loyalty club and this would be my second vv sailing (although that would be nice for return sailors 🙁 )
I’ll have about $700 -$800 onboard credit for a 4 night cruise to key west

  4. Joi says:

Any tips for first time cruisers who do not pay for priority boarding? 😫

    1. VV Insider says:

Pick your time as soon as possible. It’s open at booking. More info on boarding the ship early can be found here

  5. Jeff V. says:

Do you know if you are limited to only the food in the offer or can you add on to it. For example can you get the esquites as an additional small plate at pink agave?

    1. VV Insider says:

Hi Jeff. You can continue to order from the menu as normal as it is included these are more suggested pairings for the specific drinks.

  6. Arlene Radson Marcusky says:

    Keep informed.
