I’m trying to book a Summer Pass and be one of the 25 on our two opportunity preferences. It’s difficult gathering that much money up and converting it to US dollars. The banks have restrictions and take time to make the conversions. It’s not fair to be disadvantaged because we live in another country with a different currency. I hope we are one of the 25 because that is the big factor in whether we will do it or not. It’s also impossible to do any transactions over the weekend.
We have been absolutely sweating on this for months and had money put aside based loosely on last time’s prices but had to arrange further currency and give it all time for the conversions. We will be very disappointed if we miss out. There should be some consideration for that.

    1. Claire says:

I filled out the form and Sailor Services called me from Ft Lauderdale, I’m in the UK, and when she was booking it I asked about the 25 rooftop numbers and she said I was one of them, while I can’t see it in any of the booking emails. I trust her. But I agree while I had savings aside I did put this over 2 credit cards and of course got stung on the exchange fees – if they had given us a smidge more time I’d have moved savings to a good travel card like Starling or Monza and not been stung. ah well, live and learn.

  2. Claire Gilligan-Murrell says:

Im booked Im so excited and I was told I’m one of the 25.
However, i did wonder if they only offer 25 WFH cabins per month per ship? Good pressure marketing if that’s the case.
Its still cheaper than booking 3 back-to-backs in the Central Sea Terrace rooms.
Does anyone have any info or research on the uptake of each Ship’s summer sail pass from 2024? How many Work from Helmers were there?

    1. Rob Sammons says:

They only offer 25 with Richard’s Rooftop access per month but they’re offering more beyond 25

  3. Maree says:

Well, that’s not so good. I have been hanging out for these to be announced. Assuming that they are American dollars, prices have gone up more than 50% and itinerary lengths are reduced. That’s very disappointing. How can they justify a minimum 50% price increase?

    1. Marie the sailor says:

I paid 9500 for my September season pass. I expected prices to go up once they realized how much I was going to drink at the rooftop happy hour but I didn’t expect them to go up that much. Toast me with kindness friends. I’ve been priced out of paradise
