Valiant Lady has officially returned to service following her May 2026 dry dock, with updates spanning dining, social spaces, outdoor decks, retail areas, and major technical maintenance.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve covered each project individually as details emerged. Now that the work is complete, we’ve stepped onboard to see the finished results for ourselves.

In this guide, we’ll take a look at the major changes we found across the ship, along with photos from our first sailing after dry dock.

Disclosure: Virgin Voyages hosted VV Insider on a media voyage following Valiant Lady’s dry dock. Some experiences and upgrades featured in our coverage were independently purchased by VV Insider. Virgin Voyages had no editorial control over this content.

Quick Navigation

Ariya by Razzle Dazzle

Ariya by Razzle Dazzle is Valiant Lady’s biggest new venue addition, transforming Razzle Dazzle into an Indian-inspired restaurant during the evening while retaining breakfast and brunch service during the day.

On The Rocks and Social Spaces

One of the most noticeable layout changes is at On The Rocks, where the removal of the curved wall beside the stage has opened up the venue and created additional seating for live music performances.

The Manor

The Manor has received one of the most significant structural changes completed during Valiant Lady’s dry dock. The raised seating area and rear wall have been removed, creating a single level venue with improved sightlines, additional capacity, and easier access between the seating areas and dance floor.

High Street Changes

Several changes have taken place around High Street, including retail updates and the relocation of Squid Ink to better align with the layouts found elsewhere in the fleet.

Final Thoughts

Valiant Lady’s dry dock focused on refining and improving existing spaces rather than dramatically changing the ship. The result is a vessel that feels more closely aligned with newer fleet concepts while retaining the layout and atmosphere sailors already know.

Whether you’re sailing on Valiant Lady for the first time or returning after previous voyages, these updates should be noticeable throughout the ship.
