Virgin Voyages is marking Pride Month in 2026 with A Toast to Pride, a new fleetwide cocktail quest taking place across 20 sailings, alongside themed food offerings and guest DJs. The experience builds on the Pride cocktails and collectible recipe cards offered in previous years, but introduces a clue led format that guides sailors between bars and venues across the ship.

Virgin Voyages Introduces “A Toast to Pride”

Virgin Voyages has confirmed that A Toast to Pride will run across select sailings from late May through early July 2026. Sailors on participating voyages will receive a clue filled card holder when they board.

Each clue leads to one of six Pride cocktails available at participating venues around the ship. Sailors can collect recipe cards along the way, with the full set unlocking an exclusive finale celebration at The Manor on the last night of the voyage.

The participating venues named by Virgin Voyages are On the Rocks, Sip Champagne Lounge, Loose Cannon, Draught Haus, The Athletic Club, and The Manor.

While Pride drinks and themed cocktails are not new to Virgin Voyages, A Toast to Pride is a fresh approach for 2026. It turns the experience into a more interactive onboard activity.

How the 2026 Cocktail Quest Works & Finale Celebration

For 2026, Virgin Voyages is turning the Pride drinks experience into more of a ship wide activity. Sailors booked on participating sailings will receive a card holder with clues that point them toward different bars and lounges.

The experience is part cocktail crawl and part scavenger hunt. It encourages sailors to explore the ship, visit different venues, and collect recipe cards during the sailing.

Sailors who collect all six recipe cards will be invited to a finale celebration at The Manor on the final night of the voyage. The event includes a final cocktail, photo opportunities, and on select sailings a small Pride themed prize.

Pride DJs

Virgin Voyages has also invited a selection of Pride DJs and guest artists to sail throughout the month. Look out for featured performances and appearances in the daily line up.

Pride Food

Throughout Pride Month, The Grounds Club and The Galley are offering a selection of colorful cakes, desserts, and sweet treats inspired by the celebration.

Pride Entertainment Across the Fleet

Virgin Voyages has long used drag, dance, and late night entertainment as part of its onboard identity. Pride Month adds more focus to that atmosphere, but several LGBTQ+ inclusive events and performances are already part of the regular entertainment lineup.

Hopes for Future Pride Months

Virgin Voyages has always had a strong LGBTQ+ following, and its ships are generally welcoming spaces. The 2026 cocktail quest adds a fun reason to explore the ship during June sailings and creates moments of connection across the bars and lounges.

However, Pride Month ideally should not only sit around themed drinks and entertainment that already exists onboard. Those are important parts of the experience, but they do not fully capture what many LGBTQ+ guests look for during Pride.

Virgin Voyages has recently added official LGBTQ+ meetups across the fleet, which was a welcome step and something many sailors had wanted for some time. These meetups provide a simple way for guests to connect and are particularly useful for solo travelers or those looking to meet others onboard. You can read more about that here: Virgin Voyages Adds Official LGBTQ+ Meetups Across the Fleet.

Even so, there is room to build further. More hosted socials, guest performers, Pride themed trivia, destination tie ins, Festival Stage conversations, or dedicated daytime events could help make Pride programming feel broader and add to the growing number of specialty voyages from Virgin Voyages.

The official LGBTQ+ meetup shows that Virgin Voyages is moving in the right direction. Now the opportunity is to make Pride programming more visible, varied, and meaningful across the fleet during future Pride celebrations.

Update: Virgin Voyages has since shared additional commentary from Chief Marketing Officer Nathan Rosenberg, emphasizing year round allyship: View here.

Overview

A Toast to Pride looks like a more interactive evolution of Virgin Voyages’ previous Pride celebrations. The clue led format should help create movement around the ship, and the finale at The Manor gives the experience a clear conclusion.

We will continue to update this guide as additional details become available, including any new entertainment, guest performers, or Pride programming added throughout the season.

  1. Gay in Seattle says:

Was on the May 28th sailing out of Seattle on Brilliant and this was not included! I even asked the bartenders if they had the cards already but most were confused or just said it wasn’t ready yet. The event at the end of the week appeared on the schedule at some point but was taken down 🙁
